Stronger than Yesterday

Through this separation and doing insanity I have become stronger in more ways than one. I only have two more weeks of insanity left and I'm feeling great. I'm excited to get a run in once it's all said and done to see how much my cardio has improved.

My faith in God has become stronger too and I have no idea how people can go through deployments etc without Christ at the center of their marriage or relationship. He is my Rock and Strong Tower!

Our marriage has also become stronger through our deep conversations and books we are reading. Distance is definitely making the heart grow fonder!

Although being apart is hard at times I am thankful for the wonderful things that have come because of it.

Insanity is No Joke

One week through and already feeling results. The workouts are less than an hr and full of cardio that kicks you into shape. I can't wait to go through all 60 days and feel in great shape!

Living at home has been an adjustment but having my brother to do insanity with and my mom to shop with has been great!

Mr Bumblebee's birthday is Sunday and his care package is on its way!

Perfect World

"If it were a perfect world, I could stretch my arms all the way to where you are, and give you a great big hug." (card from Mr. Bumblebee).

After traveling the midwest to visit friends and family for a couple weeks it is good to be settled for the mean time. I have realized I have a lot of stuff and no where to put it (haha) so I am working on simplifying everything. Starting with my closet.

The temporary job search is on and I am hopeful to find something soon. I would love to be able to save more money and help pay for his midtour ticket home and my ticket to see him next spring. I also would like to keep busy so time flies until his return home.

We ordered "Five Loves Languages: Military Edition" and I am super excited to read it together and learn more about our love languages and how we can show each other more love while living the military life. I miss him so much but I am thankful and feel blessed to be able to communicate with him daily.

I Want Crazy

Mr. Bumblebee is gone :( I miss him so much but I am thankful we can talk everyday and I am looking forward to our adventures ahead. I have recently been loving this song and wanted to share it. Love the version with Danielle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U552uAsIa9o

"I Want Crazy"

But I don't want "good" and I don't want "good enough" I want "can't sleep, can't breathe without you" love Front porch and one more kiss, it doesn't make sense to anybody else Who cares if you're all I think about, I've searched the world and I know now, It ain't right if you ain't lost your mind Yeah, I don't want easy, I want crazy Are you with me baby? Let's be crazy

I wanna be scared, don't wanna know why Wanna feel good, don't have to be right The world makes all kinds of rules for love I say you gotta let it do what it does

I don't want just another hug and a kiss goodnight Catchin' up calls and a date sometimes I love that we're rebels, and we still believe We're the kind of crazy people wish that they could be, yeah

Oh, I know we're crazy, yeah

Moving Tips & Things I Learned

Well the time is here! Mr. Bumblebee leaves shortly for Korea. We had to move all our stuff into storage because I am moving back home to live with my parents while he is gone (mostly because my job is ending due to the company closing our location). So I will be sleeping on an air mattress for about a month but it was wonderful to have him around to help and drive the big moving truck. Also if you haven't heard next year we are moving to....GERMANY! We are super exciting about traveling and getting to visit many different countries! Now we just need to get through the next year apart unfortunately.

Here are my moving tips:
1. Buy supplies ahead of time (tape, boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, etc.) I got boxes from others moving on base. I was able to get two huge roles of packing paper from the local newspaper office and I bought bubble wrap for a great price on Amazon.
2. Buy plastic bins when they go on sale after holidays to use to store clothing etc.
3. Keeps boxes for electronics and appliances so when it comes time to move those items already have a secure box.
4. Use plastic sandwich bags to hold screws or brackets together - then tape or tie to the object they belong to
5. Numbers your boxes and keep a notebook with a list of what each box contains.

Military Appreciation

In light of the sweet gift from an USAF retiree while garage saling, military spouse appreciation day, and armed forces day...I want to say how much I appreciate what the troops do for this country. I am honored to be married to a United States Airman! I am proud of his decision to serve and thank him for his commitment. Although we have to spend time apart because of his career, it is only making us stronger. Those days apart are hard, nights are pretty rough, but nothing makes me smile bigger then when he is finally home and in my arms. I thank God for giving us the strength and love to stay united through it all. I am thankful for the times Mr. Bumblebee is home and the memories we get to make together.

Take a moment today to be thankful for what our Armed Forces do. They are sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, but most of all they are heroes. Maybe not public heroes but definitely heroes to those they leave behind.

I love my best friend, my husband, my hero.
