I want s'more
SUMMER IS HERE!!!! Memorial Day weekend here was a little rainy but we still managed to enjoy s'mores! I put the oven on low broiler and placed the marshmallows on a tin foil lined cookie sheet. After a few seconds I turn them to get other sides browned. When I take them out they are perfectly browned and ready to place on the chocolate and graham cracker and enjoy!!! Thanks to all the troops who have served and those who sacrificed their lives. God bless those serving now and their families. A special thanks to my hubby who I am honored to love and support whether he is home or far away.

Cinnamon Rolls
Made some awesome cinnamon rolls!!! Recipe

Such a wonderful way to end the weekend before starting my new job! Hello 40 hrs/week again :) A blessing though to make more money to pay off bills etc.
As spring is here I am looking forward to my birthday in a couple weeks and the warm weather that has already paid us a visit here in NC!

To The Beach We Go
Myrtle Beach, SC was a wonderful spot to head for a couple nights with the hubby. We enjoyed our stay at Sleep Inn at Harbour View and truly enjoyed the sights down the coast. I reviewed several places on Tripadvisor. I also used that sight to find out what restaurants were good etc. Our favorite restaurant was Gauchao Brazilian Steakhouse -absolutely wonderful! We loved our day at the beach as well! If anyone ever wants to head there and needs travel tips I would be glad to give some.
It was great to spend quality time with the hubby and get to know each other better. The second year of marriage is different because we are getting used to having each other around (although it is a little different for us bc he was gone for 3 months). It is interesting how much you don't know about each other but fun to keep learning new things. I love my husband so very much and thank God for him each day! <3

Home for Christmas
A little over 3 months after my hubby left he was able to come home just in time for Christmas!!! He was supposed to be gone till March but they sent a group home early which was an awesome surprise! When I picked him up I had made a sign that read "All I want for Christmas is A1C *last name*"! It turned out cute.
It is a blessing to have him home safe and we are enjoying treasuring time together. Below are pics from the last month and a few Pinterest inspirations :)

Pre-deployment pics
4.5 miles in honor of those who serve
On October 15, 2011 my dad, lil brother, and I ran 4.5 miles in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. I wore a sign on my back to show my support of my husband which led to a picture of my sign ending up in the Charlotte Sunday paper! It was an accomplishment for a great cause!

This deployment hasn't been too bad. I am keeping busy with weekly dinners, working out, being involved in the key spouse program, and spending time with fellow af wives.
Mr. Bumblebee is doing well. He says the days fly by for him which is good. Please continue to keep him and I in your prayers!

Cooking adventures thanks to Pinterest
I <3 Pinterest and might be a little addicted :) But I did find a recipe for a cake with pumpkin puree and decided to give it a try. Super easy and delicious! It was better right after I took it out of the oven but still good later. Mr. Bumblebee loves pumpkin so I may try other recipes likes pumpkin cookies with chocolate chips.
All you need is the ingredients in the pic above. Cook for 28 min in a 350 degree oven in a 8x11 pan!
